Greetings in the name of Jesus from Manaus, Brazil-
It is a privilege to write you concerning the ongoing ministries in Brazil.
We are very grateful for your prayers offered on our behalf to the Lord.
Without your prayers many things would not have been accomplished for the
Lord here in Brazil. Thanks to those that have sent personal email responses
and signed the guestbook at our website, it is a true blessing for us to
receive notes of encouragement and prayers.
Missionaries:
Please pray for the Enszes as they are traveling a lot
these days. In March the entire family is going to Guyana. There
is a pastor's retreat at their campground, a meeting with the Bible School
board and a trip to Paramakatoi in the interior where we will teach an
intensive class and hopefully visit some outlying areas.
Childhood Evangelism Fellowship:
The ministry at the public schools, where Grace and two seminary students
visit each week, is going well. Grace will give her first Bible lesson on
Wednesday. Up until now she has been assisting and learning the ropes. We
ask special prayer for room 8, which has had terrible discipline
problems. Last week, after we had asked many people to pray,
the difference was amazing. The conversations after class have varied from
children needing reassurance that they are saved to those seeking salvation
and someone to talk to about spiritual issues. One week a boy wanted to
talk about a demon possessed neighbor. Grace was able to use this to talk
about that young boy's own personal relationship with Jesus. Pray:
Continue to lift Grace and the students in prayer and remember
to pray for Room 8 too.
WWM/GP:
Wednesday, June 18 has been set aside as a day of prayer and fasting
for Global Partners. Join with Wesleyans around the world to pray
for:
o Missionaries-their ministries, their family, and their financial support.
o
Transformed Lives and Powerful Churches
o
Current financial situation for Brazil personnel and The National Church:
o
National Ministry Shares are badly in need of support.
We are currently running at about 40%. This principally affects the
Bible College and evangelistic efforts.
We have some projects that are underfunded as well.
We would like to ask those of you that are supporting the Enszes to continue
supporting the work in Brazil. The Enzes are still in need of Faith
Promise partners and prayer partners. You may fill out
a Faith Promise Prayer/Support form via our website
HERE.
Just click on the box "Partner with the ...".
One-time gifts can be made for any of the funds listed at any time. Please
